2024 Year of the Arts is a celebration of Newfoundland and Labrador’s unique and colourful arts community. The Provincial Government’s vision for the Year of the Arts is for it to have a lasting impact on both artists and communities and will feature public events, festivals, music, and public art exhibitions.

ArtsNL + 2024 Year of the Arts
This dedicated celebration means ArtsNL can increase its investment in the arts community, allowing the immense talent and spirit of our creatives to soar. ArtsNL is pleased to be a key delivery partner with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador on this initiative.
Through Celebrate NL, ArtsNL has been provided an additional $2M to invest in programming in 2023/24 which will highlight the vital role our artists play in shaping the province’s cultural landscape.
Increased Investment
ArtsNL enhanced the Professional Projects Grant Program for Fall 2023 by $520,000, making the total funding envelope $1.37M for that cycle.
